Im Horde-Modus kämpft ihr in guter Wave-Shooter Manier gegen unzählige Untote. Diese stürmen auf euch zu und wollen euch natürlich töten. Deshalb müsst ihr ballern was das Zeug hält und Headshots sind immer gerne gesehen. Würde man den Wave-Shooter alleine spielen, wären wir vielleicht weniger begeistert von dem Modus. Da ihr diesen Wave-Shooter aber gemeinsam spielt und euch auch gemeinsam die Leben teilt, bekommt das Spiel auch in diesem Modus einen besonderen Reiz. Nach jeder überstandenen Welle könnt ihr außerdem Karten auswählen, die euch in der nächsten Runde helfen können. So könnt ihr euren Schutz wieder aufbauen, wenn die Untoten diesen eingerissen haben oder euch neue Waffen generieren.
Das Highlight im Spiel ist aber definitiv der Heist-Modus. In diesem Modus geht es darum, dass eine Gruppe versucht, einen Zug oder eine Bank zu überfallen und die andere Gruppe versucht, die Bank oder den Zug zu verteidigen. Um das Ziel zu erreichen, muss ein Team verschiedene Abschnitte für sich entscheiden. Mit jedem gewonnen Abschnitt, rückt eines der Teams näher an das eigene Ziel heran. Durch das ständige Wechseln der Locations bleibt der Spielspaß hoch und daher machte uns der Modus auch noch mehr Spaß als der klassische Deathmatch-Modus, auch wenn das Spielprinzip ansonsten identisch ist.
Was uns an allen Modi aber etwas stört, ist die Tatsache, dass ihr immer nur an einem Fleck steht. Zwar macht dieses Prinzip in VR Sinn, aber irgendwie kommen wir uns teilweise etwas beschränkt vor. Der Standortwechsel nach dem Tot ist zwar eine nette Lösung, jedoch keine besonders geniale Lösung.
Fazit
Dead and Buried bringt viel Spaß und da Oculus den Titel verschenkt, sollte jeder Oculus Touch Besitzer das Spiel ausprobieren. Schwächen zeigt das Spiel noch etwas beim Balancing der Waffen und nicht alle Modi konnten uns wirklich überzeugen.
